This Privacy Policy explains how Ascend collects, processes, stores, and protects personal information. Our platform supports peptide-enhanced health tracking for personal wellness—not medical treatment.

1. Information You Provide

You may log or connect:

  • Peptide Data: type, dose, injection schedule, cycle logs, side-effect logs
  • Health Metrics: weight, measurements, progress notes
  • Symptoms & Wellness Notes: side effects, sleep quality, focus, mood
  • Fitness & Activity Logs: workouts, steps, training style, duration, intensity
  • Nutrition Tracking: food entries, macros, hydration, photos of meals
  • Progress Photos & Media Uploads
  • Goals & Personal Preferences

Apple Health (optional): steps, workouts, weight and water intake if you grant permission in iOS Health settings

We also collect non-identifying technical information such as device model, operating system, crash data, and usage logs.

2. How We Collect Data

  • Manually entered logs
  • Data you connect from Apple Health (if authorized)
  • Third-party login authentication (Apple/Google sign-in)
  • App analytics used to improve performance and stability

We use your data to:

4. Sign-In & Accounts

Anonymous by Default

You can use Ascend without creating a personal account.

Sign-In With Apple / Google

If enabled, we receive basic user profile info (name, email, identifier) solely for account creation and security. You may revoke access from your provider settings at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

We partner with secure infrastructure, analytics, and support providers that process data under strict confidentiality. They may not use your data for anything outside operating or improving the platform.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share identifiable data except when:

  • You request or authorize an export or transfer
  • Required by law, subpoena, or regulatory process
  • Necessary for service operation through approved processors

7. Data Security & Retention

  • Stored in encrypted servers following industry security standards
  • Retained while your account is active
  • Deleted permanently within 30 days of account deletion requests

Non-identifiable aggregated datasets may be retained to improve future product development.

8. User Control & Data Rights

You may:

  • Add, edit, or remove logs at any time
  • Disconnect third-party integrations
  • Request export or deletion of account data
  • Delete your account directly in-app

9. Children's Privacy

The service is intended for individuals 16+ years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. Accounts found to belong to minors will be promptly removed.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant revisions will be communicated in-app. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
